Roy Craumer, Jr.

Hanover, Pa.

 

Roy and his wife, Virginia live in Hanover. They have three sons.

 

He is a carpenter and she is a housewife. Roy says, “I’m still working, seems like I can’t quit.” His hobby is hunting, and he does volunteer work for Neighborhood Watch.

 

Roy feels the education we got in the Hanover School System was better than the young people receive today. Steve Padjen was his favorite teacher and Steve also got his vote for most effective teacher.

 

When in the service, he traveled to Florida, Europe and Africa.

 

Roy sometimes thinks about the good old days when, “We weren’t living as fast as we do now and life was better.”

 

He said, “I have three good sons, one granddaughter, and one grandson.”

 

Roy served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.
