Max R. Reck
New Oxford, Pa.
Max and his wife, Toni, live in New Oxford with their poodle and their cat. They met at Hanover House in 1955.
They have a son, Max II.
He was a service technician at Diebold, Inc. and Toni was a librarian, and they are both retired. Max enjoys doing handyman chores and gardening. He does volunteer work for the Boy Scouts and a local volunteer fire company.
Max feels the education we got at EHS was about the same as today’s public high schools, and B. Henry Shafer was his favorite teacher. He sometimes thinks about the good old days when the lifestyle was less demanding.
They have traveled extensively throughout the USA including Hawaii, and they have been to Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. Max enjoys attending professional and college sports events and performances of major entertainers.
Max is proud of …
“My volunteer work with the Boy Scouts and the fire company.”
He served in the U.S. Army 1959-1962.
