Construction on the current Washington Elementary School was started in April of 1960 and completed in July 1961. The school was dedicated on November 9, 1961 Shown here are the pages of the Dedication brochure. The principal of the school was Glenn D. Patterson, who served the new school and Clearview Elementary. The succeeding principal, and then head teacher, was Mrs. Helene Rouzer. Our thanks to her for providing this Dedication Brochure. |
