Hanover Middle School is a building of approximately 620 students.  Built in 1991, the middle school is comprised of grades 5 through 8.  We are a one-to-one school providing chromebooks for all students.  Our students have access to state of the art technology including 3D printers, recording studios, drones, robotics, and our very own Farmbot Genesis, an agricultural robot!

We offer our students a wide variety of academic opportunities.  These include Spanish instruction in grades 5 through 8, advanced courses in mathematics, English Language Arts, and Spanish, and STEAM courses in grades 5-8.  In addition, we have a diverse offering of specials courses.  Our students have the opportunity to explore courses in art, music, family consumer science, and technology education.

At Hanover Middle School, we place a great emphasis on preparing our students to be college and career ready.  Our one of a kind Visionary Individualized Planning Process (VIP²) provides each 7th and 8th grade student with an individualized learning plan.  We work with our 7th and 8th graders to set both short-term and long-term goals for the future while allowing our students to explore their individual interests.  All 7th grade students have the opportunity to visit two college campuses, and all 8th grade students participate in a Careers Course which focuses on preparing students for the transition to high school and beyond.  Our 5th and 6th grade students have the opportunity to tour local businesses and learn about the importance of entrepreneurship.

We are committed to excellence in education and are proud of the opportunities provided for our students.
