In grade 2 at Washington Elementary, as well as at Hanover Street and Clearview, students have been learning how to code. One of their first challenges was to create an electronic maze using software called Scratch. Once students completed their fully-functional gaming maze they were able to share their creations. At Washington, we invited third grade students to try out the mazes. Now third graders are excited to get the opportunity next year to learn how to code!
