Eichelberger High School Two wings were added to the original Eichelberg Academy building in 1932 and the building became the home of the towns high school. Many in the community feel that the years that the school served as a high school between 1932 and 1964 were the glory years for the district sports teams. EHS was part of the South Penn conference and played large school districts such as Chambersburg, Shippensburg, and York. It was during this time that the high school served not only Borough residents but the outlining townships. Classes were large, around 200. Learn more about this building.
